The Con Artists Jazz Orchestra – Swing Heist

Join band leader and conductor Dr Steve Newcomb as he takes you on a Swing Heist along with the dynamic Con Artists Jazz Orchestra and their featured vocalists. Known for their sizzling takes on well-known Jazz classics such as ’The Summer Knows’, 'Come Rain or Come Shine', and 'My Favourite Things’, this performance is bound to have you tapping your toes and grooving in your seat.

The production is presented to you by the Maryborough Regional Arts Council in partnership with the Queensland Conservatorium and Brolga Theatre. In 2024 more than 1,100 locals enjoyed a concert series including opera, brass and symphony. This year the first concert will focus on Jazz with over 20 musicians on stage with 5 featured vocalists.
