    • Rachmaninov

Rachmaninov's music captivates listeners with emotional depth, rhythmic vitality and brilliant orchestration, leaving a lasting impression almost unparalleled in the realm of orchestral music.

Be entranced for 90 minutes, then meet the musicians in the foyer afterwards.

Rachmaninov's Symphonic Dances are his composition, a vibrant orchestral work in three movements reflecting the composer's mature style, blending lush Romantic melodies with 20th-century harmonic elements.

The "Rach 2" Concerto as it's affectionately known is considered by many to be the finest piano concerto ever written. It will be played by Reuban Tsang, winner of the Nancy Weir Best Australian Prize at the 2023 Sydney International Piano Competition.

This will be a concert you will never forget!
